Happy Spring Everyone!
Birds are starting to appear and I'm pretty sure they are building a nest in one of my outside lights at the Studio. A sure sign that Spring is on its way. And as we make this transition to spring and yawn and stretch ourselves awake from our hibernation of winter, do you feel a sense of awakening within? Spring is a time of renewal, growth and energy. We start thinking about planting flowers, getting outside and enjoying the fresh air and sunshine and spring cleaning. Ok, maybe not all of us think about that last one! lol But truth is spring is a time when our energy naturally moves upward and expands so there is an internal need to get up and move. This in turn helps to clear stagnant and negative energy from the body and mind and refreshes our spirit. Spring is an opportunity to gain a new prospective in areas of our life which may no longer be serving us. Its a time to think outside the box, to "spring clean" mentally and emotionally. Its a time when our creative thinking is blossoming and the body is ready for activity. Our bodies also begin to crave new foods. Springtime veggies in beautiful colors and texture give new energy to our changing appetite. That lighter fare going hand in hand with our lighter sense of being. So welcome spring with new perspective. It's Grow Time my Friends!
Speaking of growing. IMYOGA is growing in classes and instructors. We now have 5 different instructors at the studio. Each with their own unique sense of style and knowledge. Please check out the different classes they offer. Also, we have added an afternoon class on Fridays. Join Sarah Fridays at 12:00 for a Level One class. On Tuesday evenings we offer "Sit & Be Fit with Mary", which is a chair yoga class. This class is really growing and is a fantastic way to bring yoga to all.
Mark your calendars for the end of the month when we will be offering a donation based yoga class to benefit the American Red Cross. Saturday, March 31st, from 9:00 - 10:00am. All monies donated will go to the Heroes campaign and stay right here in Saint Joseph. All are Welcome!
The Birds are chirping, the grass is greening, your mat is calling!
